On May 7th, 2018 I had the opportunity to interview Kenny Capps at the Fleet Feet Sports in Greensboro, NC. He stopped in for new running shoes during his 1175 mile Mountain to Sea Trail run to raise awareness and funding for Throwing Bones Run. Kenny has Multiple Myeloma, a terminal blood cancer, and his organization will help families dealing with this disease with the incidental costs of care, as well as research. His goal is to raise $100 per mile ran, or $117,500. He finished his run on May 24th, but is still short of his fundraising goal.
